Detailed Review of Galcon for Android Game

Galcon is one of the best games for the iPhone . Our hearts were a little jumped in happiness when we knew the game is also available in the Android Market. Finally galactic fighting wars on our favorite operating system: fantastic! Now - two weeks later - we're slightly less enthusiastic. Galcon is an exact copy of the iOS version with a few flaws. 

General

In Galcon, you with your army spaceships exterminate other armies. You start on a planet with 100 spaceships. The bigger the planet, the faster your army grows. With the army you can conquer other planets. This costs spaceships, but eventually you earn it back by occupying the planet. Then grow your army ie. If your army is big enough, you can attack enemies. The army of the opponent's small, then you can beat him easily. The army of the opponent's big, it could result in an exciting fight. Ensure you win planets of the opponent and go home with the victory.
There are various modes like Classic, Vacuum (no opponent, you have to conquer all the planets within a certain time), Stealth (you see the space ships of the opponent), Beast (the opponent starts with a lot of planets, you with one) and 3 Way (two opponents instead of an opponent).

Multiplayer
Galcon comes to life in the multiplayer mode. Take on one or three real opponents. You will quickly find other players, so you within a few minutes're playing. It's nice to have four of us to play, because this takes Galcon to another dimension.  It's all about timing. Early or late seizures may result in losses. Make sure you have a good connection.

Port
We clearly notice that Galcon is a port of the iPhone version. Thus the planets in Galcon are not round but oval. Too bad, because this application does not look  good on Android phones. "Since Galcon for Android is an exact port of the iPhone version (480 × 320), the picture is distorted, "says developer Phil Hassey."This is the cost if you're on a platform with no standard size or aspect ratios."

We usually use the Swype keyboard to fill in text fields, but somehow this input method didn’t worked Galcon Only when we used the standard keyboard, it worked with Galcon.

Conclusion
Galcon is graphically Pity against falls through the oval planets but good for the rest, it is a great game for your Android device. The application costs two euros and for that money you get a fantastic game. Especially the multiplayer mode is worth. Have you switched from the iPhone to Android, and Galcon is one of your favorite games?
