Rooting any android device

Understanding "Rooting"
By default most Android devices do not give you “root access”
Root access is basically full control over your phone and all its workings. Manufacturers disable this by default. They do this for good reason—and it’s not just to control or limit you. If someone had this access and didn’t know what they were doing, they could do some real damage to their smartphone. So manufacturers keep devices locked by default to prevent you from turning your phone into an expensive paperweight.  How To Root Any Android Phone you can do allot with root phone you can also expand you ram you can make ram of you memory card and play big games on you’r any android phone easily. you just need to follow the step’s given bellow and you can root you’r phone easily.

  1. First of all you need to download a root file matched for you android phone this is a not a big file just a 1 or 2 mb file just search for your mobile model root file . OR comment down i will give you link to download the root file for your android phone.
  2. Then you need to download oDin to root you phone follow the link to Download Odin 3.07 here.
  3.  Power off your android phone  and put it on the Download Mode. To do this, press and hold the Volume Down and Home buttons while pressing the Power button until the Samsung  appears on the screen. this will shown like this picture.

  4. Run Odin as Administrator and connect the phone to your computer via USB cable while in  Download Mode.
  5. If the phone is connected properly, you will see “Added” message in Odin. You will also see COM  port with a number in Yellow.
  6. Click the PDA button in Odin and select the file “anything you download.tar.md5.”
  7. In Odin, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options.
  8. Click on the START button in Odin to start flashing.
  9. After the flashing is done, you will see a PASS message with green background in the left-most box at the top of the Odin. your phone  will restart automatically. Once you see the home screen, you can unplug the phone from the computer.
  10. If you want to check that your phone is rooted successfully or not just go to play store and find for root app and run this will show you that your is rooted or not.

Important things you must Know

- Ensure that the device is fully charged
Odin works only in Windows. Users of other platforms like Linux OS (such as Ubuntu) or Mac OS should use CrossOver Utility to run Odin in their OS.

Note : The users must proceed at their own risk while trying out the manual installation 

HOW TO INSTALL
  1. First of all you need to find update file for your android phone that you are using.   you can comment down if u can’t find files for your android phone i can find for you .
  2. the you need oDin with the help of this software you can update your phone  Download Odin 3.07 here.
  3. Power off the phone  and put it on the Download Mode. To do this, press and hold the Volume Down and Home buttons while pressing the Power button until the Samsung  appears on the screen.                                        
  4.  Run Odin as an Administrator.
  5.  Connect phone  to your computer via the USB cable while in Download mode. If the device is connected properly, one of the ID: COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number.
  6.  In Odin, select the following files from extracted from the download file firmware folder:- Click on PDA and select the .tar file with CODE in its name- Click on Phone and select file with MODEM in its name (Ignore this step if there is no such file)- Click on CSC and select file with CSC in its name (Ignore this step if there is no such file)- Click on PIT and select the .pit file. Use this file only if you get it while extracting the zip file mentioned in Step 1 or else just ignore it.
  7. (Note – In case the extracted zip files do not have any modem, CSC or .pit file, it means that you do not require them. It’s the file with .tar.md5 extension that is a must-have and should be flashed through PDA section)
  8. In the Odin, ensure that Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes are selected. If you are using a .pit file, ensure that re-partition checkbox is selected.
  9. Click on the Start button in Odin to begin the installation process.
  10.  Once flashing is done, you will see a PASS message with a green background in the left-most box at the top of the Odin. The device will now restart on its own. After you get the Samsung logo on the home screen, unplug the device from the computer.

Steps to downgrade:

•Turn off your Samsung Galaxy device whether it a phone or tablet and boot into Download/Odin Mode. If it is a phone, you can enter the Download Mode doing this: Press and hold the Volume Down+Home buttons together and then long press the Power Button till the screen turns up. Now press the Volume Up key to enter the Download Mode. In case you have a Galaxy Tab device, do this: Press and hold the Volume Down+Power buttons together, and then press theVolume Up key when prompted.  Downgrade To Any Android Firmware
•Now go to the Odin folder and run the .exe file there.
•This is the time, you have to connect you device to the computer using a compatible USB cable.
•When the connection between the device and computer is established, the ID:COM port at Odin will turn to light Green and you see “Added!!” message below.
•Make sure that only “F. Reset Time” option is checked on Odin. The “Auto Reboot” option is checked by default, so please uncheck it.
•Okay, now click on the PDA button on Odin and select the firmware file in tar.md5 format.
•Now click the “Start” button on Odin. This will initiate the firmware installation. Wait till it finishes.

  • Finally when you get a PASS! message on Odin, remove the USB Cable from your device.
  • Now open the back panel of your device and pull out the battery. Wait for about 60 seconds and reinsert the battery back to its place.
  • Now reboot your phone into Android Recovery mode. If you have a smartphone, you can do it this way: press and hold the Volume Up+Home buttons together and then hold the Power button till the screen turns up and the Samsung logo blinks for two times. Release the Power button but keep the other two keys pressed till you see a black screen with green Android bot and Blue text. In case you got  a Galaxy Tab or Note 10.1, press and hold the Volume Down+Power keys together for a few seconds till you see the yellow triangle with Android bot followed by a black screen with blue

    • In the Recovery mode you will have to use the Volume Up/Down keys to scroll up or down, and the Power button to select an option.
    • So, scroll down to wipe data/factory reset option and select yes to confirm your choice.
    • Now go to wipe cache partition and con firm the choice.
    • Finally, go to the reboot system now option and select it.
    Your device will boot now and might take a longer time that it does usually. When its completely boots up, it should be on the downgraded firmware you installed. YuhooOO!  Downgrade To Any Android Firmware.

    2. Now you will get a ‘OneClick’ folder.
    3. Now copy ‘OneClick.jar’ file and paste it into the ‘OneClickheimdalloneclickresourcesHeimdallPackage’ folder.
    4. Right-click on ‘oneclickloader.exe’ file and choose ‘Run as Administrator’.
    5. Proceed with the installation of Heimdall.
    6. After the installation is complete, you will see the the One-Click UnBrick interface.
    7. Connect the phone to computer via USB and click on “unsoft brick” button to recover your bricked Samsung android phone.
